My first lens

I have launched myself into the creation of lenses at Squidoo. It’s a pretty easy process, a lot like writing for Hubpages (at least in terms of the tools). Not really sure why they call them “lenses”, but who am I to argue.

My first lens: How to Cast a Spell. More to come.

Wow, already here is my second one: Traditional Cuban Recipes

Cuba Travel

As I start working to promote my new Cuba Travel site, I’ve published a few articles on the subject:

That’s all for the moment. I wish I was in Cuba now…. Canada is just too cold.

Alas

My lack of posting doesn’t not reflect on a lack of work. I have been doing mainly ghostwriting and offline work, leaving me with few articles to brag about here.

I have done some thinking, and have recently decided that I want to focus on my writing rather than web site creation and will be closing a few of my sites. Ironically, the first to go is my Become an Online Writer blog. I like to write, but I guess I don’t really have the motivation to write about writing. I’m moving my articles to HubPages instead.

Not sure where I am heading next, but I will continue to add links when I have new material of my own to boast about.

Merry Christmas

Yep, I’m working on Christmas day. What a surprise. I really should get off the computer and start a fire. I’m freezing in here. New stuff:

Not a lazy butt

Honestly, though I have not posted recently, I have been very busy doing work stuff. Yes, I have been working.

I’ve relaunched Covenspace on a new server with new software. So far so good, still many thousands of people to move though.  I guess that has been my biggest project. I’ve also rebuilt the Steaming Cup with a new platform for easier updating.

A few new pieces up at Learn Genealogy:

Holy smokes

I’m shocked that I’ve not posted new work sooner. I’ve been doing several offline projects, and moving. So I have an excuse. I’ve been doing more website creation than article writing lately too.

Oh, and I am now one of the blog writers at Dot-Mom.com

Stuff from Joel

Since most of my stuff lately has been offline work or ghost-writing that I am not allowed to lay claim to, I have not had alot of article links to post. I am not a slacker, so get that thought right out of your head. So I am going to toss some exposure and linkage to my good friend and real estate guru, Joel Nash. Here is some of his latest stuff.

More of my own work next time. Maybe.

Getting overworked

I think I finally have taken on more work than I can comfortably handle. I guess it was inevitable. Add an article project and a book collaboration into my regular schedule and I need about 35 hours in a day.

Doing offline work

I’ve been working on some offline writing projects, so fewer new articles to post. Also I’m getting too lazy to post here. Just a little bit.

Haven’t posted in a while

Now that I get work-time each and every weekday, I get just so much work done I can’t keep up with myself. That’s really not that true….

Also semi-launched two new websites:

  • Clicktodonate.org - a collection of links to all those free donation sites, that you just have to click to make a donation.
  • SNatalog.com - a social networking directory

Both of these are technically up and running but are still undergoing design tweaks, and are a bit light on content right now. I’m sure once I discover who to add another 6 hours to the day, I’ll be able to get them finished up.
